Successful businesses are creative. They are not copycats. They bring a unique perspective or offering to the marketplace. It doesn’t mean they are necessarily first to market; they could be entering an established sector. But what sets the most successful businesses apart is an imaginative approach. Cultivating original ideas and bold thoughts taps into the inherent spiritual nature of creation. How? We are all created on purpose with unique gifts and talents. By using yours to grow your business, you are shining your light, inviting in abundance. In other words, lose the cookie cutter and instead bake your business with your natural ingredients from scratch.
True connection is not measured in social media followers and “likes.” It centers around genuine care for your clients’ needs, rooted in a genuine desire to serve. Raise your own expectations for what your brand and product represent through outstanding service. Treat people as you want to be treated, first as a human being, not a “target” or “prospect.” Make your communication personal. Be authentic. Express empathy and warmth. Listen. You will demonstrate passion for your calling and compassion for your customers.
Creation and connection require commitment. Commitment is about being consistent. Make a commitment to quality, by delivering consistent value and results. Commit to putting forth maximum effort. Be consistent in your message and schedule. It doesn’t mean you need to be a workaholic, but maintain a low tolerance for slacking off (a lack of commitment). Success rarely comes to the lazy. Commit yourself to continuous improvement through an openness for new ideas and growth.
